A journey of two worlds: the colourful fishing villages of Liguria and the gentle vineyards of Piedmont. From Portofino and the Cinque Terre to the Langhe hills and aristocratic Turin. It is an ideal blend of sea, gastronomy and art, designed exclusively for you.
Genoa was one of the most powerful maritime republics of the Mediterranean and left its mark along the whole Ligurian coast. The five villages of the Cinque Terre were built from the 11th century onwards on cliffs above the sea and are now protected by UNESCO. Turin, the first capital of a united Italy in 1861, still carries the grandeur of the House of Savoy.
On the Riviera the highlights are Portofino, Camogli, Santa Margherita Ligure and the five villages of Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore. In Piedmont you will see the Mole Antonelliana and Turin’s Egyptian Museum, one of the most important in the world. In the Langhe hills you will find Barolo, Alba and Neive with their medieval castles.
Liguria is the home of authentic pesto alla genovese, focaccia and fresh seafood. In Piedmont you will taste tajarin with truffle, vitello tonnato and Turin’s famous gianduiotti chocolates. The region also produces some of Italy’s greatest wines, such as Barolo and Barbaresco.
In the Riviera villages evenings are quiet and picturesque, with wine and seafood beside the little harbour. Turin is lively around the Quadrilatero Romano and along the banks of the river Po, with bars and the celebrated Italian aperitivo. In Alba, especially in autumn, gastronomic evenings built around truffles are a unique experience.

For destinations inside the European Union and the Schengen area, Greek citizens travel with a new-type national ID card bearing Latin characters, or with a valid passport. We recommend carrying your European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) as well. Minors must carry their own travel document, and a valid driving licence is required if you are hiring a car. Entry rules change, so please confirm the current requirements with our office before you book.
The local currency is Euro (EUR). Cards are widely accepted in cities and hotels, but it is worth carrying some cash for small shops, markets and tips. Tell your bank you are travelling so your card is not blocked.
Changes and cancellations follow the terms of the airlines, hotels and suppliers booked for you, so the cost depends on how close to departure you are and on the fare rules of each booking. Tell us as early as possible and we will look for the least costly option. The general terms of participation apply to every booking.
Travel insurance is not included in the price unless the "Included" list on this page says otherwise. We strongly recommend it, especially for trips outside the EU, so that medical care, cancellation and lost luggage are covered. We can arrange a policy for you — just ask when you book.
