GENERAL TERMS OF PARTICIPATION IN LIA’S TRAVEL SERVICES AND PROGRAMMES

Welcome to Lia’s Travel (liastravel.com). This page contains the General Terms of Participation for organised trips (packages), as well as our company’s Cancellation and Refund Policy.

Please read the following terms carefully before proceeding with any booking. Your participation in any trip organised by our office presupposes full and unconditional acceptance of these terms.

GENERAL TERMS OF PARTICIPATION IN ORGANISED TRIPS

1. Organiser Details

The website liastravel.com is owned and operated by the company:

  • Company Name: ANTONIOS PANOPOULOS & CO. E.E.
  • Trade Name: Lia’s Travel
  • Registered Office: Mavroulia 6, Kiato, P.C. 202 00, Greece
  • Tax ID (VAT): 800635831 (Corinth Tax Office)
  • Contact Phone: +30 27420-20555
  • Email: lias.travel@gmail.com / info@liastravel.com

2. Legal Framework

These General Terms of Participation govern the obligations and rights of the traveller (consumer) and the travel agency (organiser) with respect to the organised travel (package) services provided, in accordance with Presidential Decree 7/2018, implementing European Directive (EU) 2015/2302.

3. Bookings and Trip Registration

  • Registration for a trip is completed by paying the deposit specified for the particular programme, or the full amount, electronically by card, bank transfer, or in cash at our office.
  • For a booking to be valid, the traveller must provide correct and accurate personal details (as shown on their passport or identity card). Any error in these details will result in additional charges from the airlines or shipping companies, which are borne entirely by the traveller.
  • The balance of the trip cost must be settled no later than 15 days before departure, unless otherwise specified for the particular trip programme.

4. Travellers’ Obligations and Responsibilities

  • Travel Documents: The traveller is solely responsible for obtaining, and for the validity of, all necessary travel documents (new-format ID with Latin characters, valid passport, visa, health certificates, etc.) required for their destination.
  • Schedules and Meeting Points: Travellers are required to adhere to the departure, flight, and meeting times listed in the programme or indicated by the tour leader/guide. In the event of delay or failure to appear, the traveller forfeits the trip with no right to a refund.

5. Changes to the Programme or Cancellation by the Organiser

  • Lia’s Travel makes every possible effort to faithfully follow the trip programme. However, it reserves the right to change the order of the programme or modify individual services (e.g. change of hotel of the same category, change of route schedule) if deemed necessary due to force majeure (weather conditions, strikes, political unrest, etc.).
  • If a trip is cancelled entirely due to our agency’s fault (e.g. due to not reaching the minimum required number of participants), the full amount paid by the traveller is refunded, with no further obligation for compensation.

INSURANCE & SAFETY

1. Professional Liability Insurance

Our agency holds a valid Professional Liability Insurance policy for every trip it organises, which covers any claims by travellers arising from non-performance or improper performance of the package travel contract, as well as repatriation coverage in the event of insolvency or bankruptcy, in accordance with applicable law.

2. Optional Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all travellers take out optional private travel insurance (which our office can issue upon request), covering cancellation costs due to illness, medical care abroad, lost luggage, and other unforeseen circumstances during the trip.
