Individual Trip: Miami, Orlando – Bahamas Extension, 9 days

Day 1: Flight Athens – Miami

Departure from Athens with a connecting flight and arrival in Miami.
Transfer and check-in at the hotel, located in the famous tourist area of South Beach. Remainder of the day free to discover the “Ocean Drive”. Relax by drinking coffee or trying something light at the area’s famous cafeteria, “Pura Vida South of Fifth”.

Day 2: Miami – City Tour

The morning English-speaking tour of Miami includes Miami Beach (South Beach, the most touristy area, known for its majestic hotels, its enormous beach, and its Art Deco buildings with history from the 1950s-1960s).
Crossing the business center of the city, full of skyscrapers and an elevated electric metro passing through them, we will visit the Coconut Grove area, home to the Vizcaya villa (the beautiful Italian estate with its wonderful gardens and rich history, a meeting point for major political leaders), and we will stop at Little Havana – Calle Ocho (the Cuban quarter), Coral Gables (the wealthy area famous for its houses built from coral) & the Biltmore Hotel (one of the first structures, with old history and ghost legends). Finally, we will have the opportunity to relax at the Bayside marketplace with its rich international buffets and the most beautiful view of the largest cruise port in the world. Remainder of the day free for shopping at nearby stores.

Day 3: Miami – Florida Keys – Key West

Car pickup and departure for a trip to the borders of the Atlantic and the Caribbean Bay in the Florida Keys.
With today’s excursion, you will drive on a one-way road to the southernmost point of the USA. Enjoy the wonderful landscape offered by the 32 small lush islands along the way (paradises for fishermen from all over America), which are picturesquely connected by 42 bridges (including the 7-mile bridge—famous for the filming of the movies Licence to Kill, Criss Cross, and Up Close & Personal) and thus offer a delightful route. Upon arriving in picturesque Key West, leave the car at the port and explore the small historic center of the island. Don’t forget to take a photo at the southernmost point of the USA with a view of Cuba, visit the Hemingway House-Museum, try the famous ground meat hamburger at the historic Sloppy Joe’s bar with country music, buy souvenirs from the small shops at the port, and certainly taste the famous Key Lime Pie. On the way back, don’t forget to stop at one of the other islands you hadn’t seen before. Islamorada, Marathon, Key Largo, and so many others, and pick up a shark tooth as a souvenir in the form of jewelry.

Day 4: Miami – Orlando

We suggest that during your transfer to Orlando, you visit the largest of its kind discount department store, Sawgrass Mills, shaped like an alligator, and take advantage of its particularly low prices on clothing and especially on American brand names. Then, make a stop during your route at the NASA space center at Cape Canaveral and get a full update on space missions from its museum. Don’t forget to try space food and buy souvenirs! Upon arriving in Orlando, settle into your hotel and visit International Drive, known for its numerous shops, restaurants, and bars, or visit the Universal City Walk (where no entrance fee is required!) to have fun or dine at one of its restaurants!

Day 5: Orlando – A Tribute to Disney

We suggest you visit some of the DisneyWorld parks today that you won’t find in Europe, such as Epcot Center, Animal Kingdom & Disney Hollywood Studios.
Start with a different kind of fun, by going on a safari in the most famous parks of Africa and Asia, to admire wild animals in their natural environment… and all this at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Then, you can visit the nearby Disney studios to see up close how major films are shot, such as Star Wars, The Muppet Show, Twilight Zone, Toy Story…
And leave Epcot Center for the end to take a trip into the future with the new technological achievements of its research center, but also to take a walk through the major countries of the world (Mexico, China, Japan, Morocco, Italy, France, USA, Canada…), admiring the sights of each area that have been faithfully copied for you by the tourism boards of each country. Try Mexican cuisine inside the wonderful Mayan temple, with a view of the volcano with its lava and the boats taking a cruise in the hinterland. Try a cruise on the Seine with the well-known Bateaux Mouches and so much more. Don’t forget to be present at the closing ceremony of the park with the wonderful presentation of each country under the sounds of classical music and the magic of fireworks. A true super-production!!! If, on the other hand, you have not visited the Disney park in Paris, you can include it in today’s activities. The Magic Kingdom is mainly aimed at our little friends and offers adventures ranging from well-known fairy tales to a trip into space. From rafting to a riverboat ride…. Ask for the parade times and wait in the main square to enjoy dance and song from the little Disney protagonists.

Day 6: Orlando – The World of Universal

We suggest you dedicate your day to the two Universal parks….
And the Oscar for Best Movie of all time goes to… King Kong, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Back to the Future, Jaws, Jurassic Park, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, The Big Earthquake of Los Angeles, Schwarzenegger… Terminator, the adventures of Harry Potter, Spider-Man, Shrek, The Revenge of the Mummy, Men in Black….. These and many other movies invite you to take a leading role and participate in the unforgettable films that made history, those of Universal Studios. Visit both parks and let yourself go into the magic of the most perfect entertainment facilities in the world! Take a break for food at the Hard Rock Café Colosseum or the amazing Mythos restaurant.
Between the two parks, you can have fun freely without an entrance fee at one of the music clubs and thus fill your night as well…. have fun!
In case you wish, you can start early in the morning with the famous Sea World park, to admire the shows with the Orcas or all the other marine animals…. and finally, swim in the park’s extension with the dolphins. It is certain that you will be impressed! Try to include free time to visit one of the numerous malls in the area with excellent cheap prices on all clothing products.

Day 7: Orlando – Return flight

Day free, seize the opportunity and visit a shopping center for your last purchases, until the transfer to the international airport and return flight.

Day 8: Athens

Arrival in Athens.

Day 4:

Day 1: Orlando – Bahamas
After breakfast, a transfer to the airport follows and a flight to the capital of the Bahamas island group, the picturesque Nassau. Arrival, transfer to the hotel, and free time for swimming and water activities at the famous Cable Beach or Blue Lagoon island.
Days 2-3: Bahamas
Days free to discover the capital Nassau and its small islands.
Don’t forget to visit the pink beach, swim with the beautiful little pigs at Pig Beach, choose water activities by swimming with dolphins, take a ride in traditional carriages in the center of Nassau, buy silver and gold duty-free jewelry, visit the famous Atlantis hotel on Paradise Island and admire its aquarium or ride the water slides at the Aquaventure park. It is also worth trying the local cuisine and cocktails made from local rum on a food tasting excursion!
Day 4: Bahamas – Return flight
Day free, until the transfer to the international airport and return flight. Arrival the following day.
