Individual Trip: Miami – Bahamas Extension, 7 days

Day 1: Flight Athens – Miami

Departure from Athens with a layover and arrival in Miami.
Transfer and check-in at the hotel, located in the well-known tourist area of South Beach. The rest of the day is free for you to discover the “ocean drive”. Relax by having a coffee or trying something light at the famous local cafe “Pura Vida South of Fifth”.

Day 2: Miami – City Tour

The morning English-speaking tour of Miami includes Miami Beach (South Beach, the most touristy area, known for its majestic hotels, the huge length of its beach, and its Art Deco buildings with history from 1950-1960). Crossing the business center of the city, full of skyscrapers and an elevated electric metro passing through them, we will visit the Coconut Grove areas, which hosts the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens (the beautiful Italian estate with its wonderful gardens and rich history, a meeting point for major political leaders) and we will stop at Little Havana – Calle Ocho (Cuban district), Coral Gables (the wealthy area famous for its houses built from coral) & the Biltmore Hotel (one of the first constructions, with its old history and ghost legends). Finally, we will have the opportunity to rest at the Bayside Marketplace with its rich international buffets and the most beautiful view of the largest cruise port in the world. Rest of the day free for shopping at the nearby commercial stores.

Day 3: Miami – Optional excursion to the Florida Keys – Key West

Follow a full-day excursion (06.00-22.00) to the south. A journey to the borders of the Atlantic and the Caribbean Bay in the Florida Keys. With today’s excursion, you will drive on a one-way road to the southernmost point of the USA. Enjoy the wonderful landscape offered by the 32 small lush green islands (paradises for fishermen from all over America), which are picturesquely connected by 42 bridges (including the 7-mile bridge, famous for the filming of the movies License to Kill, Criss Cross, Up Close & Personal) and thus offer a delightful route. Arriving in picturesque Key West, wander through the small historical center of the island. Do not forget to take photos at the southernmost point of the USA with a view of Cuba, visit the Hemingway Home and Museum, take a ride on the traditional train, take a boat trip with a glass bottom to see the rich seabed of the Caribbean bay, try the famous hamburger at the historic Sloppy Joe’s bar with country music, buy souvenirs from the small shops of the port and definitely taste the famous Key Lime Pie. On the return, there will be a short stop at one of the islands of Islamorada, Marathon, or Key Largo for rest.

Day 4: Miami – A day for shopping

We suggest you visit the Sawgrass Mills, the largest of its kind discount shopping mall shaped like an alligator, using the organized mini-vans from the mall, and take advantage of its particularly low prices on clothes and especially American brand names. You can also visit the nearby Aventura Mall or the Lincoln Road pedestrian shopping street in South Beach.

Day 5: Miami – Time for Fun

Day free to enjoy your swim at Miami Beach. For the evening, choose to be entertained at a Cuban Cabaret show (Kuba Cabana) or party at the best club in the city, LIV, at the top of the Fontainebleau hotel, which hosts big musical names or well-known DJs from all over the world. Whatever you imagined from the movies you have seen, you will certainly find it at Mango’s Tropical Café, Mojito – Salsa and half-naked dancers entertaining the world in Latin rhythms for the last 20 years.

Day 6: Return flight and arrival in Athens on the 7th day

Day 4:

Day 1: Miami – Bahamas
After breakfast, transfer to the airport and flight to the capital of the Bahamas island cluster, the picturesque Nassau. Arrival, transfer to the hotel, and free time for swimming and water activities at the famous Cable Beach or Blue Lagoon Island.
Days 2 – 3: Bahamas
Days free to discover the capital Nassau and its small islands.
Do not forget to visit the pink beach, swim with the beautiful little pigs at the Pig Beach, choose water activities by swimming with dolphins, take a ride in traditional carriages in the center of Nassau, buy silver and gold duty-free jewelry, visit the famous Atlantis hotel on Paradise Island and admire its aquarium or go down the water slides at its Aquaventure park. It is also worth trying the local cuisine and cocktails made from local rum on a tasting tour!
Day 4: Bahamas – Return flight to Miami
Day free until transfer to the international airport and return flight. Arrival the next day.
